White, William (Bill) Clark, 83, of St. Peters, Missouri died on May 19, 2025 at the Villages of St. Peters, in St. Peters, MO. William (Bill) was born on October 25, 1941 in Marshall, Missouri and graduated from Marshall High School and then continued on to receive his Degree from the Missouri Central College and Teaching Certification from the State of Missouri. William (Bill) began his teaching career in 1970 at Lindbergh High School in St. Louis County, Missouri and taught Social Studies and served as Librarian for 30 years. In his retirement, William was thoroughly focused on his project of writing a book on the former President Lincoln’s Funeral Train Car. He loved research and reading and devoted a great deal of time preparing his notes. Sadly, the book is unfinished. William was also gifted in photography and his many photos of nature, birds and flowers brought him much pleasure. William is preceded in death by his parents William C. White, Sr. and Frances Pauline Slocum White, his three sisters, Marie White Boedeker, Dorothy F. White and Josephine White and one brother in infancy, William White.
William made his wishes known to his very good friend Kathryn Ryan, that he wanted an “Irish Wake” in celebration and remembrance of his life, the date and time to be announced later.
