William Martin
Polazzo, Jr.
Sep 8, 1968 — Jul 23, 2026
Wentzville, Missouri
William Martin “Will” Polazzo Jr., of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the age of 57. Born September 8, 1968, Will was the cherished son of Marge Phillips and William Martin “Bill” Polazzo Sr.; beloved husband of Blondina Polazzo; devoted father of Olivia (Bailey) Woods and Bella Polazzo; proud and loving Nonno to Delaney, Wesley, and Valentine; and dear brother of Mark Polazzo.
Will proudly served his country as a United States Marine. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and later his master’s degree, and built a successful career in engineering and aviation, including many years at Boeing, where he was proud to support the United States military. In 2013, Will left Boeing to work alongside Blondina, allowing them to spend more of their life and time together.
Music was a huge part of Will’s life. A bass player since his teenage years, he spent decades playing in bands and especially loved playing on worship teams at church.
Fitness was equally important to him. For more than 40 years, Will was committed to strength training and was also a strength and conditioning coach who trained and encouraged countless people. The gym became a place of friendship and “iron sharpening iron,” and many people knew and loved Will through the relationships he built there.
Will loved to cook, and his chili became part of many fun and memorable chili cook-offs over the years. He appreciated the simple things in life: good food, good music, time with the people he loved, and opportunities to make someone laugh.
Will was incredibly intelligent, strong-willed, protective and generous, with a great sense of humor. He loved deeply, gave great hugs, and was always willing to help someone. Above all, he loved his family.
Will’s faith in Jesus Christ was deeply important to him. He loved Jesus, spent time in prayer and Scripture, and wanted God to use his life to make a difference in the lives of others. His family finds great comfort and peace in knowing where he is today.
Will lived a full life and was deeply loved. The relationships he built, the people he helped, the music he played, the laughter he brought, and the memories he created will continue to live on in those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life honoring Will will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come as they are, share stories and photos, and celebrate a life that meant so much to so many.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Will’s honor to the Focus Marines Foundation.
