Trudi Anne Ziegler

Trudi Anne Ziegler (nee Heisohn) Born 10/25/1962 in St. Louis, MO. to the late Oliver and Joan (McDonald) Heisohn, passed away suddenly on May 23, 2018 at age 55.

Trudi is survived by her 3 Sisters:  Liane (Ken) Higgins, Renee Heisohn and Janet (Dave) Hessler, her 2 Sons:  Scott and Sean Smyers, her nieces and nephews:  Karma Heisohn, Angela (Scott) Grander, David II (Trish) Harmon-children David III and Johanna Harmon, her Cousins:  Mark (Mary Ann) Heisohn, Lara (Curt) Sidorski-children Simon and Elliot, Jason and Aaron Heisohn and many Dear Friends and Neighbors.

Trudi graduated from Ritenour Senior High School in 1981, earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Vocal Performance.  She then earned her Master’s Degree from Lindenwood University-St. Charles in Early Childhood Education in 2013.  She was a Teacher at Blossom Wood Day School in Hazelwood, MO.

Trudi was active in her church, Assumption Catholic Church and a regular member of her Bunko Group and a Great Square Dancer with the Wheelers and Dealers Square Dancing Club of St. Louis, MO.

Funeral will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Assumption Catholic Church on Main St. in O’Fallon, MO.  Visitation at the Church from 9am-10:30, Memorial Mass 10:30am-11:30 and a Luncheon following the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter in St. Charles, MO.  and Bridgeway Women’s Center in St. Charles, MO.
