Stan Bronakowski joined his beloved wife, Sandie, in heaven on July 9, 2025. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family who loved him deeply.
Stan was born and raised in St. Louis and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he met the love of his life, Sandie, and they shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Her passing left a hole in his heart, and he often said he was ready to catch up with her.
Stan was a devoted family man, an avid sports fan, and a masterful storyteller with a laugh that could fill a room. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren and always had a joke or a warm memory to share. His kindness, humor, and unwavering loyalty will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter Dyann Davis; grandchildren Trevor (Halie) McPherson, Jozie Davis, Trent (Melanie) McPherson, and Jackson McPherson; great-granddaughter Reese McPherson; brother-in-law Dale (Rita) Faerber; and many beloved friends.
Stan was preceded in death by his wife Sandie, his daughter Amy McPherson, his mother Ann Bronakowski, and his brothers Bob Miller and John Bronakowski.
