Sharon Lou Wernecker (nee: Beard), 81, of St. Charles, MO, passed away at 8:28 A.M., Tuesday August 8, 2022 at the Boulevard Senior Living Home in St. Charles, MO.
Sharon had been a Credit specialist for Union Electric. Sharon moved from Fredericktown Mo when she graduated high school and lived St. Louis Mo. She and her husband Terry Wernecker move to Webster Groves until they retired and moved back to Fredericktown.
She was born February 5, 1941 at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Everett and Gertrude E. (Puterbaugh) Beard, Sr.
She married Terr Wernecker in 1963 and he preceded her in death in 2019.
She is survived by her beloved son, Sean Wernecker of St. Peters, MO, two brothers – Dale Beard of Festus, MO, and James Beard and wife Pat of Raymore, MO, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers – Everett Beard, Jr. and Eugene Beard.
Sharon will be be buried next to her sister in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery in Du Quoin, IL
