Russell was born January 16, 1962, to a military family while stationed in Chinon, France. He completed the eighth grade at a vocation prep school which ignited his talent for working with his hands. Determined to dance to the beat of his own drum, his vocational life complimented his handy work. Russ was happiest when he was building, fixing, or rehabbing something. He is survived by his three children, Jennifer Lee Marcoulier, Joseph Rene Marcoulier and Jamie Lynne Marcoulier, grandson Joseph Rene Marcoulier, Jr., his mother, Karen Sue Mayernik, and siblings Michael Marcoulier (Kim), Katherine ( Jeff) Barnes, Gina (Fred) Kasper and Kathleen (Mark) Dashley, many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Capt. Leo Rene Marcoulier and stepfather Houston D Mayernik. A memorial service is to be held on December 1, 10am at Christ Fellowship Bible Church, Brentwood, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Loves & Fishes Ministries, 2055 Concourse Drive, Maryland Heights, MO 63146.
