Horobec, Rosa Theresa (Bauer), 88 died on Feb 6th peacefully at home in her bed of Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Rosa was born in Kolbermoor, Germany on 7/30/31. She immigrated to the US when she was 19 yrs old with two children.
Rosa was married to Peter Horobec on April 24 for 72 yrs.
Rosa worked at Schnucks bakery for 35 years, in the shipping and receiving department. Her hobbies were her grandchildren, traveling and gardening.
Rosa is survived by her seven children, Pete(Viki) Horobec, Bill(Judy) Horobec, Paul Horobec, John Horobec, Jim(Marilynn) Horobec, Theresa(Johnny)Wildhaber, Tammy(Bill)Miller, Grandchildren, great Grandchildren. Her dear sister Hildeguard, Marille, Elizabeth, Peter.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Hans and Theresa Bauer and her son Ed Horobec.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM at Ascension Church in Chesterfield, MO Saturday, Feb 29,2020. A wake is immediately following at Tammy’s house. 120 Hawks haven Dr. O’fallon MO.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The American Lung association. The family of Rosa Horobec wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Crossroads hospice.
