Ronda L. Bates, a loving wife and mother passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 60. Due to complications of Stroke and Cancer.
Ronda is survived by her Husband: Mark K. Bates (57), Son: Andrew K. Bates (33) Daughter in Law: Becky Bates (31) 3 Siblings: Ron Rounkles, Mary Ann Steinle and Laura Balster.
Ronda was born in Salina, KS on January 28, 1960. She went to Lucas-Luray High School and attended Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS. She married Mark on May 4, 1985 in Mountain Home, Idaho and was married for 35 years. She was a military spouse who supported her husband during 5 combat tours and 18 years of service, always keeping the home fires burning.
Ronda was a devoted wife and mother. She was full of energy and loved to laugh. Even with all the duties that she had to fill, she found the time to play guitar and sing, start her own auction company, and work as an appraiser for many years. She loved to travel and lived in many places like Kansas, Idaho, Italy, New Mexico, North Carolina, Illinois, and Missouri. She always enjoyed the adventures of life.
Let's all Take a moment to remember this remarkable woman. The one with the best smile, laugh, and sense of humor. The one who would drop everything to help. The one who would give the shirt off her back. The one who loved and laughed and who would tell you exactly what she thought. She was tough when she needed to be but had the softest touch.
