Robert Edward Evans

Evans, Robert Edward (Bob), 87 of St. Charles, MO, died on September 1, 2026 at his home at The Boulevard St. Charles.

Bob was born in St. Louis, MO and graduated from Beaumont Highschool after receiving training in the Printing Trades. He went on to work as typographer for National Type, later acquired by Type Two Printing. Bob was a proud member of the St, Louis Typographical Union No. 8. After retiring from Type Two, Bob worked for AT&T for many years. Bob was also proud of serving as Mayor of Country Club Hills for 10 years.

Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Charlotte, and his two daughters Eileen (William) Sandlin and Renee (Kevin) Pajda as well as grandchildren Kevin Pajda, Jr, Alex Pajda, Chris Pajda, Kyle Pajda, Zach Grzeskowiak, Kaitlyn Grzeskowiak and Natalie Sandlin. He is preceded in death by his son Douglas Evans and daughter Christa Evans.

The family would like to acknowledge the amazing care and compassion shown to him by the PT, OT and ST team at Premiere Health, his devoted aide from Private Home Care and the entire staff of The Boulevard St. Charles.

It was Bob's wish that no memorial service be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, cards and prayers are welcomed.
