Myer, Phyllis (nee Butler), 81, of St. Peters, MO died on January 15, 2021.
Phyllis was born in Moberly, MO and graduated from Moberly High School, she continued on to Barnes School of Nursing to receive her Associates Degree in Nursing.
Phyllis worked as a nurse at Barnes in St. Louis for a few years before moving to Boston for a while and on to La Plata, Maryland where she worked as an ER nurse at Physicians Memorial Hospital until her retirement. Upon retirement in 1998, Phyllis returned to Missouri to be with her family. Phyllis kept up with her many friends from many states, cherished time with her family, and brought so much joy to so many. She loved to read, travel, exercise, walk for miles and always picked up litter along her path. Phyllis will be missed by all who had the fortune to know her—and may we all leave the world a better place than we found it as she certainly did.
Phyllis is survived by her sister Betty Campbell; her nieces and nephew Bo (Cathy) Campbell, Leigh (Scott) Shull, and Mindy (Terry) Green; her great-nieces and nephews Christie Campbell, Daniel Campbell, Kelly Campbell, Sam Shull, and Sadie Shull.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Thelma Butler.
