Paula Jo Mainieri

Paula Jo Mainieri, beloved WIFE, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and sister-in-law passed away peacefully at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis, Missouri on June 23, 2020.

Visitation will be at Twin Rivers Worship Center, St Peters Thursday July 2, 2020 at 5 p.m. followed by a Service at 7 p.m.

Paula was born November 16, 1955 in St Louis and was raised in St Ann and Bridgeton. She married her high school sweetheart, James D Mainieri in 1974. Paula and Jim moved to St Peters, Missouri in 1985.  Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Marie Eggers, brother Eugene Eggers, nephew Steven Pettyjohn and son James N Mainieri. She is survived by husband James Mainieri, son Adam Mainieri, sisters Bonnie Goodman and Marcella Mainieri, and sister-in-law Diane Meyer. She was a loving grandmother to Allen, Makinzy, Brandin, Kain and Journi and a treasured friend to Matt Jobe and Kathy Quenelle.

For many years, Paula worked as a Dietician at DePaul Hospital and then got her degree in Medical Coding and was able to work from home for Mercy Hospital in St Louis. This enabled her to spend valuable time with her grandchildren. She was a kind, considerate, thoughtful person with a heart of gold. She always put others first, enjoyed many friendships and was active at her church, Twin Rivers Worship Center where she volunteered in the children’s church and hospitality team. She enjoyed playing Bingo, loved the beach in Florida and her niece’s lake house.

Paula will be forever loved and missed by everyone who knew her.
