Skinner, Patricia (Patty) Louise, of University City, MO, died September 2, 2020.
Business partner, confidant, best friend, hero, sister. Patty lost her valiant fight with cancer early morning September 2, 2020. She is survived by family and friends that will love her always.
Born September 22, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas to Walter and Rose Skinner. From the beginning she embraced her dreams cheerleading for the Ward Cyclones. In the 70’s she broke ground as the first female to work in sales for a major computer company rising quickly to management. Her past 30 years have been spent in a family business with her brother Ron.
Survived by 6 siblings, Janet Hunter, Linda Hodges, James Skinner, Deborah Patmore, Ronald Skinner, and Gary Skinner. Aunt Pat to 10 nieces and nephews with 18 more calling her great or great great aunt.
Patty is preceded in death by parents, Walter and Rose Skinner and sister Susan, all there to greet her with open arms, as well as, the pets she loved so much Alex, Gatsby, and Midnight.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations should be made to your favorite local animal rescue.
Due to Covid19 a Christian mass and celebration of life will be held at a future date in Kansas City.
