Mike was born in St. Charles, MO and went and graduated from St. Charles High School, he continued on to join the Marine Corp were he served for 2 years as a radio operator.
Mike was in a relationship for 21 wonderful years with Lisa Sandling.
Mike worked in many different lines of work including his true love of being a talented musician (Vocal and guitarist) and made many dear and wonderful friends whom he shared many laughs, tears, anger, and joy. Those who met Mike would say one of two things about him he was both a perfectionist and a loyal and devoted friend.
Mike is survived by his 10 children Michael Hanlon Jr., Shelly Hanlon, Angelina Martin, Jessica Hanlon, Jason Hanlon, John Hanlon, Alex Akers, Zachary Sandling, Tamela Blue, and Jeremy Sandling; and his 26 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Garnetta Hanlon.
