Michael Wayne Darnell

Michael Wayne Darnell II, 68, of O' Fallon, MO, passed away in his home on July 4th, 2026.

Born in Roanoke, VA to parents Michael Wayne Darnell and Vivian (Neal) Darnell, Michael graduated from Cave Springs High School in 1976 and went on to proudly serve four years in the United States Air Force working as a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. His passion for aviation carried into his civilian life, leading to a long and successful career at Boeing and Trans States Airlines.

Michael is survived by his children, Olivia Darnell, Matthew Darnell, Brandy and her husband Michael Berrey, step-daughter Stacy and her husband Travor Calloway, former spouse Teri Darnell, sister Pamela Page Woolwine, brother Forrest Todd Darnell and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Vivian Darnell and his brother Bryan Scott Darnell.
