In Loving Memory of Michael J. Crescenzo
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael J. Crescenzo of O’Fallon, Missouri, on May 25, 2025. Born on June 10, 1945, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Jesse and Helen (Baltic) Crescenzo, Michael was raised in Wegley, PA. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 35 years, Deborah (Gore) Crescenzo; his siblings, Richard A. Crescenzo and Linda Crescenzo; and his parents. He is survived by his nephew, Steven Crescenzo, and Steven’s wife, Barbara, of Pittsburgh, PA. From a young age, Michael had a keen eye for beauty and an innate sense of style, which led him to pursue a career in interior design. He studied at the renowned Parsons School of Design in New York City, where he honed his natural talent. Michael later enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Scott Air Force Base in St. Louis, where he served honorably and achieved the rank of sergeant. After his service, he made the St. Louis area his home, opening a successful interior design studio in Clayton, MO. Known for his remarkable eye for color and eƯortless elegance, Michael’s work left a lasting impression on clients and colleagues alike. His talent and dedication brought beauty into many lives and spaces. Throughout his career, he collaborated with notable names such as Jack Brandt, JCPenney Portfolio, and Seasonal Concepts. Many clients became lifelong friends, a testament to his genuine warmth, easygoing nature, and generous spirit. To his friends, he was simply “Mike”—a man with a passion for cars, action films, and, above all, his family, friends, and pets. His greatest joy was his wife, Deborah, his soulmate and steadfast companion for decades. Michael was also a lifelong dog lover, and his pets were his family. He is survived by his cherished puggle, Frankie, who will now be lovingly cared for by Steven and Barbara. If you would like to honor Michael’s memory, the family requests that donations be made to Diamonds in the Rough Recuse MO (https://ditrrmo.org/) at 1223 Birdie Hills Rd., St. Peters, MO 63376, (636) 362-4355 or your no-kill rescue of your choice.
