Michael A. Lipscomb

Lipscomb, Michael Allen of O’Fallon, MO passed away at home on Thursday, August 30th at the age of 59, after a short battle with cancer. His final days were spent surrounded by friends and family. Mike was born on January 25, 1959, in Mexico, MO, to George and Dolline (Cochran) Lipscomb. He was a proud Navy veteran, serving from 1979 to 1985, on the USS John F. Kennedy.

Mike is survived by his two children, Erin (Greg) Jeffries of Winfield, MO, and Jason (Maggie) Lipscomb of Foristell, MO, and their mother, Catherine Lipscomb of Cottleville, MO. He is also survived by his loving partner of 13 years, Susan Zeman, and her three children Melissa (Andy) Weber, Alex (Lauren) Zeman, and Britny (Daniel) Zeman; his brother, Kevin Lipscomb of Mexico, MO, sister Marjorie (the late Melvin) Collins of O’Fallon, MO, Al Weathers of O’Fallon, MO, Ron and Carrie Horst of Troy and several nieces, nephews and family members. He was a loving Pawpaw to Lillian, Olivia, Benjamin, Alexis, Maddox, Kayleigh, Kilee, Liam, Natalie, Gabrielle, Braden, Aubree, Alexa, Angelina, Daniel, and Donovan. Mike was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Melvin Collins, brother George Jr., his parents Dolline and George Sr., and his partners mother, Margaret Weathers.

A private memorial service will be held for his immediate family. A celebration of life will be held in Mike’s honor on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at his sons’ home. All are welcome to join and remember Mike’s legacy. Please contact Jason at (636) 262-7835 for further details.
