Mary “Wendy” Bryan

On Thursday, April 28, 2022, Mary “Wendy” Bryan, 74, of Rockville, Maryland died peacefully while visiting her daughter in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. She was born in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada on July 6, 1947, to Ira and Bessie Franks. Wendy spent much of her life in Rockville with Terry Bryan, her beloved husband of nearly 50 years. She was the loving mother of Eric Bryan (Sharon) and Kristen Weinhardt (Paul); cherished grandmother of Kevin and Lauren Bryan and Haley and Aubrey Weinhardt; and will be dearly missed by her dog, Benton.

Wendy worked several years with the Montgomery County Recreation Department providing program services for young children and senior citizens. She enjoyed taking day trips and relaxing by the water with Terry, playing Uno and Yahtzee with her grandchildren, and having a glass of wine with her many dear friends.

A private memorial celebration will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Wendy’s memory to Montgomery County Humane Society at www.mchumane.org/donate/memorial-gifts/ or your choice of animal shelter or rescue.
