Marvene Simpson April 18, 1942 - January 6, 2026 

Simpson, Marvene of Foristell, MO passed on Tuesday evening, January 6, 2026 at the age of 83. She was born in Gatewood, MO and the baby of the family. Loving, devoted and kind would be words to describe Marvene. She was dedicated to her family and an amazing mother & grandmother. She was a loving mother of Cheryl Reynolds and Sharon “Kay” (Tom) Rudebeck, cherished grandmother of Denita Starr, Joshua “Jason” (Kathy) Starr, Julia Rudebeck and Eli Rudebeck, kindest great-grandmother of Abby Medlin, Kera Starr, Landon Lewis, Kacy Starr and Andrea Lewis. Marvene was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Simpson, her parents, 14 brothers and sisters, 3 sons-in-law and 1 grandchild. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 1:00-3:00pm at Stonebridge Church, 201 Meriwether Lewis Drive, Ofallon, MO. This celebration will focus on Marvene’s legacy, her love of music and the memories shared with family and friends. The attire will be casual and guests are encouraged to wear bright Spring colors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or the Alzheimer’s Association.
