Mark Gained his wings after fighting Covid and many other health issues for 2 1/2 weeks. He was born in Saint Petersburg, Florida then the family moved to Lynnfield, Massachusetts where he resided until around 14 years old and then he moved back to Florida.
He was a father to Nancy Rossi and her Fiancé Stephen Masone of Quincy, MA; Patti Rossi of Quincy, MA; Mark Permenter and his wife Cassie of Arizona; and stepfather to Mellissa Sheehan and her husband Mitchell Burgess of Weymouth, MA. He was a loving grandfather to Aiden, Jocelyn, Anthony, Jyllian, Damon, Kyleigh, Connor, McKinley, Dixie and a baby boy due in November, Wyatt. He was also the step grandfather to Devin, Trinity, Abby, Timmy, Sophia, Desiree, and Aiden! Mark was a brother to Michael Rossi and his longtime companion Melissa Ritchy, and an uncle to Joseph Rossi of Saint Charles, Missouri.
Mark had a huge heart and loved deeply! Family was most important thing to him. He also had a love for animals. He had many dogs throughout his lifetime most recently Bella and Zippy.
If you knew Mark, you would know his love for food! He would travel the country trying every type of food imaginable; and let me tell you, he would sit at a buffet until he was full. If you ever sat down and talked to him, he would tell you about his favorite restaurants from city to city. Steak tips and linguine with clam sauce were on the top of his favorites. Mark had many friends, most of them were lifelong friends that he considered family. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles. He would go to as many bike weeks as possible. He also had a love for all genres of music. Growing up in the 70s, rock ‘n’ roll and all the outdoor concerts were definitely a hit for him and he has gone to probably over 150 concerts. Music was absolutely one of his favorite things. Like I said before, family was everything to Mark. Make sure you tell your family members every day that you love them.
