Mark D. Eads June 13, 1955 – June 23, 2025
Mark D. Eads, age 70, of Florissant, Missouri, passed away on June 23, 2025. He was born on June 13, 1955, in Lebanon, Indiana.
A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Mark went on to build a 30-year career as a dedicated print pressman. He was a quiet, humble man who found joy in the simple things—fishing on the river, listening to St. Louis Cardinals games on the radio, and caring deeply for those he loved.
After the passing of his stepfather, Mark selflessly took on the role of checking in and helping his mother, Evelyn, offering her companionship and support in her later years. He deeply valued family and maintained a lifelong bond with his cherished group of three high school friends, Roger, Joe, and Jeff—relationships that lasted through decades of life’s changes. Mark was the last surviving member of that group.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Eads; his mother, Evelyn Wilcox; his stepfather, Bob Wilcox; his brother, Ron Eads; and his sisters, Connie Manion and Gail Wilcox.
He is survived by his brother, Steve Eads; sister, Mary Martin; and brother, Scott Wilcox, along with numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
A memorial Mass will be held at Assumption Catholic Church in O’Fallon, Missouri, on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Mark will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant, Missouri.
