Marian F. Schneider, age 81, passed away Sunday, May 3, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lester R. Schneider; her beloved son, Douglas L. McCafferty; and her parents, Samuel and Della Anderson.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Darrin) Eigenmann; Angelina Lawrence; her grandchildren, Charisin (Patrick) Dannegger, Joseph (Caitlin) McCafferty, Douglas R. McCafferty, Amanda (Logan) Gainer, Emily Eigenmann, Joshua (Avery) Eigenmann, Olivia Eigenmann, Alyssa Lawrence, and Jonathan (Jassmin) Lawrence; and her great-grandchildren, Adri, Emilia, Piper, Phoebe, Joseph Jr., Willow, and Palmer.

Marian worked in insurance and even opened a resale shop, but her greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones. Marian lost her primary eyesight in 1998 and faced this tremendous loss with a grace we should all strive to achieve.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at Sunrise United Methodist Church, located at 7116 Twin Chimneys Blvd, O'Fallon, MO 63368.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon.
