Loretta M. Kelly, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the age of 90. Devoted mother to Edward J. and Anita Kelly, Karen Kelly Schooling and David Maldonado, Maureen Kelly Short, Shawn W. and Kimberly Kelly, Timothy P. Kelly, and Heather Kelly-Connell; cherished Mema to Katie, Grace, Matt, Dalton, Ian, Colin, Marina, Sheenah, Nate, Shane, Casey, Megan, Timothy, Hope, Tristen, Lauren, Patrick, Madison, Austin and Emina; treasured great grandmother (Gigi) to Bella, Jude, Ryder, Louis and Phillip; and Loving sibling to Robert Falkowski.

Loretta is preceded in death by her husband, Edward James Kelly I, her parents, William J. and Ida Falkowski, three siblings, William, Jeannette and Geraldine and two grandchildren Edward J. Kelly III and Ryan J. Schooling.

Loretta was the mother to 6 children, grandmother to 16 grandchildren and great grandmother to 5 great grandchildren. She was selfless, compassionate, caring, and never stopped thinking or listening to all those in need and sharing their happiness for each special moment. The best parts of her day were either spent with her family or having a phone conversation with one of her beloved family members catching up.

Loretta was deeply devoted to her faith and was a member at St. Elizabeth Anne Seaton Catholic Church. She loved reading her Bible, praying for and with others. Every morning started with a conversation between her and God. Her love and devotion to the lord Jesus Christ has taught us that no matter what we face, through God all things are possible. She lived by this virtue “Praise Him in the good times and let Him lift you and carry you in your hard times.” She was an example of true faith to all she met.

Loretta was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We are sure that heaven will welcome the return of our angel. Goodbye to the sweetest, kindest, and most loving mother, grandmother and friend. Knowing you are only a thought away will comfort us until t we meet again.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Anne Seaton Catholic Church, St. Charles Missouri for Loretta on April 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
