Devoted wife of 40 years to the late Marvin Backhaus; dear friend of Jeffrey Duhaime; loving mother of Gary (Barbara) Backhaus, Connie (Steve) Condren, Denise (Chuck) Cole, and Donna (Joe) Punzo; cherished grandmother of Aaron, the late Adam, Megan (Nick), Danny (Amber), Caitlin (Kevin), Madison (Trevor), Drew, Natalie, and Chrissy; treasured great-grandmother of Alex and Samuel.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Adam; her husband, Marvin; and her brothers and sisters, Leonard, Bud, Willie, Olivia “sis”, and Dorothy.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
