LaVerne Kricho

LaVerne Kricho, 85, of St. Peters, passed away on April 1, 2023, after a short illness.

LaVerne was born in St. Louis on January 11, 1938. She worked as a receptionist for Furlong Printing Company for many years. She enjoyed reading, watching Jeopardy, and collecting giraffes. 

LaVerne is survived by her brother, Jack Allgire, daughters Karen (James) McDonald and Sharon (David) Hoven, grandchildren Alex, Ryan, Andrew, Aly, Austin, Ashleigh, Clayton and other family and friends.

LaVerne is preceded in death by her husband Nick and her sister Betty Tooley.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation or a favorite charity in LaVerne’s honor.
