John S. Whitnell, 35, of St Louis, MO, passed away on 10/16/2021.
John was born in Decatur, IL on 03/25/1986.
John is survived by his mother, Phillips Whitnell, his brother’s Jerry Whitnell (Delenia) and Jimmy Whitnell (Amber); his sisters Vickie Hults, Lisa Howdeshell, Joyce Hug (Jeff), and Jan Whitnell; and his beloved children Jazlyn Whitnell and Stephen Hayes.
John is preceded in death by his father James S. Whitnell, who passed on 10/31/1992.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dream Center (4324 Margaretta Ave St. Louis, MO 63115) in memory of John S. Whitnell. The family of John wishes to thank Pastor Kendrick Haynes at Genesis Men’s Home.
John was a brother, a son, and a father. He will be dearly missed. John loved Batman and was crazy about his daughter and son. In his short life he showed so much straight that you can make it if you try. Just God seen his straight and said son I need your help. So John being John said yes, I will help. He would of not went if he thought it wasn’t right. So bless you John for being here and showing us the good, the bad, and the ugly. But yet, you came out with a smile on your face. We love you forever and will never forget what we learned from you, your bright blue eyes said it all. Love you forever until we meet again.
