McCrady, John Francis, 79, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on March 3, 2024.
John joined the St. Louis County Police Department in 1966. He achieved the rank of Lieutenant during his career and after 35 years of service he retired from the Department in 2001.
John is survived by his four children, Kim (Brian) Lane, Jennifer McCrady, John McCrady and James (Ashley) McCrady. He was a wonderful father, father-in-law, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle and friend.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or The BackStoppers.

His love and guidance have left an indelible mark on his family and his lessons and memories will continue to live on through them. An avid dog and cat lover, John always had a special place in his heart for his furry companions. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially playing cards.
A Graveside Service to honor John will be held at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016 (636) 275-4100 on March16, 2024 at noon.
