John E. Mattingly

John Edward Mattingly of St. Peters MO passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the age of 52.   He is survived by his wife, Donna Mattingly, their son, Jacob Mattingly and their daughter Rachel Mattingly; his parents, Norman and Diana Mattingly; his siblings, Renee (Brian) Wasisco and Laura (Greg) Harris and his grandmother, Irene Layton.  He was a beloved son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.

John was a devoted family man and loved his wife and children dearly.  He prided himself in working on home projects and providing for his family who were his everything.  He was also an avid sports fan, loving everything sports especially the St. Louis Blues and the Kansas City Chiefs.  His perfect day was spent at home grilling, watching a good game and listening to a good old country song.
