Guthrie, James "Slim" of Troy, MO, died on Friday November 17, 2017, at the age of 44. Loving husband of Mickie Guthrie (nee: Hall); beloved son of the late James William Guthrie, Sr. and the late Gail and Adrian "Mike" Michel; devoted father of Sally Knox, Emily Knox, and Jessie (Patrick) Schwent; cherished grandfather of Sidney, Mavrik, Phoenix, and Odin William Ladwig, and Carson James Knox; dear nephew of Skip (Donna) Barteau, Ronald (Pat) Barteau, Herbie (Madeline) Barteau, Barb (Lee) Thrasher, and Mollie (the late Hoover) Guthrie. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
James is preceded in death by his grandparents, special aunts and uncles, and his sister, Patricia Guthrie.
