James Harold Houchin, 66, died on February 28, 2022 in Chesterfield, Missouri from complications with Parkinson’s Disease.
Jim was born in Peoria, IL to James J. and Grace Houchin. Jim proudly served 22 years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer.
Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Anne M. Houchin (Howe) and their daughter Elizabeth R. Houchin, both of O’fallon, MO. He is also survived by his sister: Cathy Skaggs; aunt: Nancy (Tom) Welch; :Jeffrey (Shelly) Skaggs; Cousin: Jason (Tammy) Welch; Cousin: Jennifer (Brian) Wetzel.
He was preceded in death by His parents: Jim and Grace Houchin; Paternal Grandparents: Charles and Ann Houchin; Maternal Grandparents: Harold and Bertha Woodhull and his Paternal Uncle John Houchin.
A Military Committal Burial Ceremony will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO on March 30, 2022 ay 1:30 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinsons.org.
