Imogene rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings on May 31, 2020 at the age of 90.
Born to Robert and Ruby Whitson on August 23, 1929, she is survived by her husband of 71 years, Ray Easley, and her four children, Sharon (Gerry) Wolf; Donna (Bill) Curdt; Debbie Dingledine; Dan (Terry) Easley; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruby and Robert Whitson; brother, Buster Whitson; sister, Pauline Hanson.
She was a member of Friedens Peace United Church of Christ in New Melle, MO. She was a devoted mother and home maker, and one of her greatest joys was to make cookies for her grandkids. She loved family gatherings and could always be counted on when a friend or family member was in need. She and Ray spent many years wintering in Texas, taking trips in their camper and making friends everywhere they went. Imogene cherished her family and friends and will be sorely missed. Cards and memorials can be sent to Friedens Peace United Church of Christ, PO Box 28, New Melle, MO 63365, to be distributed to charities at the family’s discretion.
A private Celebration of Life will be held for the family. A drive by visitation will be held 1:30 - 2:30 on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Friedens Peace United Church of Christ.
