Glenda June Goebel (Guilliams) 84, passed away on June 3rd, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love, kindness, and devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ronald, whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. Also her parents Glen & Norma Guilliams and brothers Jerry, Bob, and Gary.
She is survived by: her two children, Kim Schepker (Bill) and Glen Goebel (Sharon) and her sister, Gail (Tom) Kraai.
She was a proud grandmother to Mark Schepker (Caitlyn), Jacob Schepker (Alex), Jessica Schepker, and Ryan (Madison).
June’s greatest joy continued with her four great-grandsons, Colton, Beau, Henry, and Anderson.
Of all the roles June held throughout her life, “Grandma” was the title she wore with the most pride. That title also extended to their friends as well. Her home was a place where everyone felt welcome, and after school there was always room for one more around her table. Her house was a second home filled with love, laughter, and the comforting smell of something delicious in the oven! She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. Nobody left her house with an empty stomach! Her legendary chocolate chip cookies were nothing short of “world famous” among everyone who knew her! They became a treasured tradition that family and friends will forever remember (especially Kim’s co-workers at True).
June also enjoyed golfing, Cardinals baseball, caring for animals, working crossword puzzles, watching the Game Show network, and above all, spending precious time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The holidays were especially meaningful to her. She treasured every family gathering and creating traditions and memories that will be cherished for generations.
Those who knew June will remember her warm smile, contagious laugh, and unmistakable sense of humor. If she didn’t agree with something, her signature response would be “whatever”. It always brought a smile to those who knew her best.
Her greatest accomplishment was the love she gave so freely. She taught her family the importance of kindness, generosity and making time for those who matter most. While her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the love she shared, the traditions she created, and the memories she made will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever cherished.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday Sept. 6th starting at noon at the large pavilion in Olde Towne park in St. Peters.
