Gery Edward Zimmerman, 64, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on October 14, 2026, at his home.

Gery was born on February 22, 1962, in Quincy, Illinois, to George Richard Zimmerman and Mildred Ann Ebbing.

Gery was a painter by trade and a hardworking man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was known for his strong-willed personality, sense of humor, and love for having a good time. Whether spending time with friends, sharing stories, or enjoying a cold Natty Light, Gery appreciated life’s simple pleasures. He had a personality all his own, and those who knew him will always remember his familiar saying, “Get Er’ Done!”

Gery is survived by his three daughters, Courtney (Jeremy) Rice, Amber (Ryan) Zimmerman, and Bridget (Ryan) Juenger; his grandchildren, Owen, Logan, Aliyah, Arianna, Brecklynn, Willow, and Sophia; his longtime companion, Michelle Emerson; and his siblings, David (Linda) Zimmerman, Roger Zimmerman, Peggy Malcomson, and Carl (Mary) Zimmerman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mildred Zimmerman.

A celebration of Gery’s life will be held on November 7, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Kavern 636. Family and friends are invited to come together, share stories, and celebrate the life of a man who was truly one of a kind.
