Gale Darlene McKiddy

McKiddy,Gale Darlene (nee Huffman), 76, of St. Charles, MO died Dec. 15, 2025.

Gale was born in St. Louis and graduated from Wentzville High School before attending Truman State University to earn her MA.

Gale worked as a Counselor, a Psychological Examiner and a German language teacher. The last 20 years of her career were with the St. Charles City Schools. She previously worked for Clopton High School (Pike County, MO); the Schultz American School (Alexandria, Egypt); Riyadh International School (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia); and the German School of St. Louis. She was an active member of the Episcopal Church in St. Charles.

Gale is survived by her husband, their son and his wife (Clayton and Johanna McKiddy) and her sister (Connie Barnes and her husband) and her brother (Kenneth and his wife) as well as various nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Huffman and Jean Baldwin Huffman.

A memorial service will be held in late January or early February at Trinity Episcopal Church, 318 S. Duchesne Drive, St. Charles, M0. 63301

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to "The Beloved Group" at Trinity Episcopal Church or to Shriner's Hospital - St. Louis.
