Hamilton, Gail, 81, of Ladue, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026.
Gail was born in St. Louis, Missouri, where she later graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School before continuing her education at Texas Christian University.
Gail devoted her life to her family and found her greatest joy in being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be held close forever. Her summers in Northport, Michigan were especially meaningful to her, a place where she felt at peace and surrounded by beauty.
She had a deep love for animals, a passion for travel, and a genuine appreciation for experiencing different cultures and cuisines from around the world. Gail lived with warmth, curiosity, and a kind spirit that touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Barry Hamilton; her children, Melissa H. Metzger and Barry Hamilton Jr.; her cherished grandchildren, Chelsea and Will; and her adored great-grandchildren, Oliver, Henry, and Ruby.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis and Walter Heimbuecher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
