Eric Smelcer

Smelcer, Eric, 65, of OFallon, MO, died on October 2, 2025.

Eric was born in St. Louis, MO, raised in Florissant, MO and graduated from Hazelwood Central High School, Class of 1978.

Eric loved playing guitar and was very talented at it. He loved music, was a Jack of all trades and loved his family.

Eric was married to Valerie Wunderle on June 26, 1987, they were married for 38 years.

Eric was a devoted father of his two children, Eric Smelcer, Jr. and Jesse Smelcer.

Brother of James Smelcer, Gail Burd and Mike Smelcer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cyrus and Bonnie Smelcer.
