In Loving Memory of Edward Jerome Korba Jr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, and friend, Edward Jerome Korba Jr, who departed from this world peacefully at his home in Wentzville, MO, on September 2, 2023. He was born in East St. Louis, IL, on October 20, 1948. Edward was a Vietnam War veteran, who proudly served his country.

Professionally, Edward was a healthcare systems executive, achieved great success, forging meaningful connections in his field. He held a masters degree in Communications from SIUE, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to learning and growth. Beyond his career, Edward had a deep passion for technology, cars, and he also enjoyed playing poker. 

Edward shared an enduring and loving bond with his spouse, Margaret (McFarland) Korba, which lasted for an incredible 44 years. Together, they built a loving family, including Alexia Korba, Edward “Ted” (Rachael) Korba III, and Valerie Korba, who were a source of pride. He also adored his 3 grandchildren: Jayden, Harley, and Henley. Edward's wisdom and love will forever guide them.

In keeping with the wishes of Edward, there will be no funeral services or memorial.
