Douglas Paul Moore

Douglas Paul Moore, of Crestwood, passed away on October 17, 2026. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 6, 1956, Doug lived a full life packed with laughter, hard work, and more love than any room could hold.If you knew Doug, you knew his sense of humor. He had a quick wit and a way of making everybody around him feel like family. He was proud to own and run his own company for fifty years, a testament to his work ethic and the handshake kind of man he was. But ask anyone, and they’ll tell you his real pride and joy was his kids and grandkids—and being the best dad and grandpa he could be.Doug was the son of Samuel James Moore and Mary Elizabeth Moore. He is survived by his daughters, Katie (Terry) Kick and Tiffany (Kenneth) Welch; his grandsons, Henry and Anderson Welch; his stepdaughter, Nickie (Pete) Browne; and his brother, Randall (Sharon) Moore.He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel James Moore and Mary Elizabeth Moore; brother, Jimmy Moore, and his son-in-law, Terry Kick.A Celebration of Life will be held at Fenton HotShots from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7.In lieu of flowers, please make a blood donation to the Red Cross.
