Dennis Joe Proffer, 76, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019. He died peacefully within his home in Foristell, Missouri with his wife Jackie and children (Jennifer & Britinie) by his side.
Beloved husband of 40 years to Jacklyn Bardol Proffer.
Loving father to Scott J. Proffer (Terri), Jennifer F. Tamborski (Shane), Britinie J. Prosser (Jeff) and Daniel Covis (Brandy).
He was the proud grandfather of Sydney, Jack, Alex, Luke, Brenden, Noah & Mckensie.
Sister to Debbie Orf (Paul). He was the son of the late Joe Proffer and Freida Clark Proffer.
Born June 22, 1943 in Advance Missouri, Dennis grew up as a typical farm boy. He moved to St. Louis and spent the majority of his adult years working for McDonald Douglas (Boeing) as a manufacturing engineer.
Dennis was a kind and gentle man who loved his family fiercely. His world revolved around his wife (Jackie) of 40 years. He was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019, 1:00PM at St. Theodore Church 5059 Hwy P, Wentzville, MO 63385 with a Luncheon to celebrate Dennis’s Life.
