Daniell W. Neill

Daneill Willaby Neill, 85, of Wright City, MO passed on September 30th, 2023 in his home with his loving family by his side.

Dan was married to Doris Ann Hopper on July 2, 1960 (his 22nd birthday) in Arnold Missouri.  They were married for more than 63 years.

Dan enlisted in the Marines in 1955 and proudly served his country.  He worked as an electrician, real-estate agent, business owner and district/regional sales manager.  Along with his wife Doris, he bought, upgraded and sold more than 18 homes during his working years.  Dan was also very active in his church and practiced his faith each and every day.   If a man is measured by work ethic, integrity and the love he has for his family, then Dan was among the greatest of men.  

Dan is survived by his wife, Doris Ann Neill; his two sons, David Andrew Neill and Michael Patrick Neill; his two grandsons, Michael Calvin Neill and Nathan Daniell Neill; his-half brother David Neill, his half-sister Mary Neill.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniell Moses Neill; his mother Marie Mabel Thurman, his step father James Milford Thurman and his half-brother Don Neill.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.  The family of Daniell Neill wish to thank the wonderful staff of St. Croix Hospice.
