Baldas, Barbara Anne (nee: Dohms), 82, of Florissant, MO, died on Saturday, September 4, 2021 surrounded by her beloved children and husband by her bedside.
Barbara was born in Louisiana. She graduated from University City High School.
Barbara was married to Robert C. Baldas Sr. on June 8, 1957. They were married for 64 years.
Barbara attended Hickey Business School. She worked as a Bookkeeper at Dohm & Nelke, INC (Family owned packing house equipment manufacturer) for many years. In 1983 she and her husband bought the company, changing the name to Tri-Power Machine. Barbara and Robert retired in their late 70's.
Barbara was truly gifted. She loved to cook, back, entertain, sew, needlepoint, and cross stitch, crafts of all kinds, paint, woodwork, decorating, etc....She excelled at everything she attempted.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert and their four children: Cynthia (William) Cantrell, Roberts C. Jr. (Lisa) Baldas, Elizabeth (Robert) Springkemper, Jeffrey A. (Christine) Baldas; Jacob (Shannon), Michael (Jiyoon), Daniel (Stephanie L.) and Stephanie Cantrell Heck (Camden), Ashtyn (Forrest) and Brandon Baldas; Eric (Laurie) and Aaron (Alexis) Green; George and Mia Baldas. her great-grandchildren: Jacob and Molly Cantrell, Noah, Avery, and Emmie Cantrell, Cowan, Braden, Aubrey and Harrison Green.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Dohm Jr. and Suzanne Josephine (nee: Ryan) Dohm, and her sister, Carole Sue Beurskens (Robert).
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm at Bridgeway Park in Bridgeton on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
