Arthur L. Stepp

June 18, 1928 — August 15, 2022

Saint Charles

Arthur Lee Stepp, of St Charles MO, went home early in the morning on Monday, August 15th, at age 94. He died peacefully, in his sleep, after a long struggle with kidney disease. Preceding him were his wife, Dahris Stepp, and his three siblings, Ernest Stepp, Mildred Amy, and George Stepp. Surviving him are his three children, Garry Stepp, Richard Stepp and Christina Lynn Stepp/Boyd; their spouses, Paula (PK) Stepp, Carol Stepp, and Steven Boyd; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Stepp, Pierce Stepp, Lindsay Shah, Emerson Stepp and Ramsay Stepp; his three great grandchildren, Mattox (Max) Stepp, Eleanor Stepp and Kira Shah; and his dear friend, Jackie.

Art retired from the photographic industry as the Director of Quality Assurance at First Foto, after starting out as a sales clerk at Bill's Camera Shop and becoming Nursery Identi-Foto's first employee.

After retirement, Art performed a little volunteer work, and continued traveling around the United States and Canada, his greatest exploit, a trip to Alaska, driving the Alaska Highway, towing a 26 foot camper! Aside from his family and work, though, his greatest passion was Contract Bridge, at which he was a master.

A Celebration of Art's Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, 21st of August in the Activity Room of the Fairwinds Retirement Community, 600 Riversedge Dr, St Charles Missouri.
