Arthur R. Moss

Arthur "Pete" Moss was born on March 3, 1940 in Jonesboro, Arkansas and passed away August 31, 2018 at the age of 78. Pete served in the Air Force for 4 years and 4 more years in the Air Force Reserves. After leaving the military he worked as a truck driver, a U.S. Postman, and even a dispatcher for the Van Buren Police Department. Pete married the love of his life, Susan on November 6, 1999. With this marriage he gained a daughter, Tammy Arnold and a son, Darrell Sanders. Pete had two daughters from a previous marriage, Michelle (Ramiro) Timmer-Saldana and Jennifer (Arland) Fairman. Pete had lots of people who he adopted as his kids and lots of grandkids and great-grandkids. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing poker, hanging out at the Current River and listening to his favorite singer, George Jones. Pete was proceeded in death by his mother, father, two sisters and step son Darrell Sanders.

The family will be having a grave site funeral served by Cremation Society of Missouri. The service will begin at 1pm on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery located at 2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125.
